SDBR Cinema #002 Halloween Special Presents 'The Blair Witch Project'

SDBR Cinema #002 is our Halloween Special: The Blair Witch Project (1999).

In 1994, three student filmmakers head into the woods outside Burkittsville, Maryland to make a documentary about a local legend, the Blair Witch. They never come back. A year later their footage is found. Shot almost entirely on handheld cameras, the film helped define found-footage horror and is still one of the most influential low-budget films ever made.

SDBR Cinema exists to screen films that inspire new ideas, spark conversation and bring people together, while offering an alternative to nights centered around drinking and clubbing.
